When Blake and Abby asked me to do Blake’s family’s pictures when their brother Dalton got home from his mission, I was ecstatic. Blake and Abby were our neighbors in college and we love them so getting to be with their whole family? I knew it would be a treat. His sweet family drove all the way from Texas just for me to do their Utah family pictures! Well, maybe they had other motives, like good family time before they sent Dalton off to Utah State for college, but we’ll say it was for the pictures. ???? Eric and Rachelle have three amazing boys – Blake, Dalton (who just returned from a mission to Mexico!), and Wade. Then the sweetest girl, Abby, joined the family when she and Blake were married. Their family definitely gained an amazing addition!

 

When we got to Provo Canyon, Rachelle told me this would be an easy session and she wasn’t kidding! The three brothers – Blake, Dalton, and Wade – were hilarious and would come up with the best poses. Threesome piggy back rides, tickle fights, stunting – you name it! This is the first time these brothers have been together for a long time and they don’t have much time together before Wade is off on his mission, so I could tell they were really soaking this time in. It was so fun to be able to see the love and connection this family has.

 

I felt like I had been best friends with their family all along. And they even treated me and my family to pizza at Terra Mia in Provo – which was so authentic and delicious – where we met Blake’s cute grandparents who came all the way from Las Vegas! Dinner was so fun and Rachelle even shared the apples from her salad with our little girl. That is southern hospitality right there. ❤
