Bride Guide #52 is tips on the day before the wedding by Logan City Utah Wedding Photographer Lauren Kay Photography.
You are getting married tomorrow!! By the time this day comes, it’s likely you’ll be head over heels
excited. And also a little overwhelmed and nervous. Be good to yourself. Take the day off of work and
school and dedicate this day to taking care of yourself and prepping for tomorrow.
Emergency Kit
One thing you’ll want to definitely do is make an emergency kit for tomorrow. You don’t want to be
wishing you had a bobby pin or Chapstick with you. This is another great time to delegate to a
bridesmaid, mom, or sister. The travel-sized items from the store are a perfect way to go!
Also bring a change of clothes and a tried and true pair of shoes. You never know if you’ll need them and
it doesn’t hurt to throw them in.
Relax
Once you feel like you have everything ready for tomorrow. Heck. Even if you don’t. Take a minute to
relax. Go get a massage. Spend some alone time (remember those self-care ideas?). Go on a nice date
with your groom. Do something meaningful with your parents or siblings. Have your bachelorette and
bachelor parties. Go get your pedicures and manicures. Go on a daddy-daughter date or do something
with your mom.
Whatever it is, do whatever is going to be most meaningful and relaxing for you. Reserve the day before
your wedding for taking some time to re-charge.
