It’s hard for me to even put into words how much I love this family of three. When we moved into our ward as newlyweds, it was hard. We felt very alone, and Kristy and Trevor showed us the most Christlike love and friendship. Kristy has always been there for me, and I seriously could go on and on about how amazing this family is. And Benson has been such a fun friend for our little daughter.

 

When we got to Utah State for this cute family session, the clouds were looking very ominous. We went quick, so that we could beat the storm that was moving in fast. We had such a good time and right when we were wrapping up it started to pour – perfect timing!

 

The other part of the adventure is, my husband and baby had come along to the session, since we’re such good family friends. Since our home was close to Utah State, we had just decided to walk. Maybe not the best idea, haha! Trevor and Kristy, being the sweethearts they are offered us a ride, and we declined, reasoning that we could jog home almost as quickly. What we didn’t anticipate was the lightning! ???? We were jogging as fast as we could when we saw a bright flash and heard a booming crack right behind us. Needless to say, we picked up the pace. We later found out that a tree had been struck by lightning about 200 yards behind us, woah! I do like adventures, but maybe not that exciting of adventures! ???? The amazing sky we got for their pictures behind the Old Main “A”, though, was totally worth it.
