Oh my goodness, I love this girl. Where do I even begin. When I decided to go to Utah State, I didn’t know any of my roommates. Starting from scratch like that was SO nerve racking. I prayed every single day that I would like my roommates.When I finally got the list sent in an email of who I would be rooming with for the next year, I quickly Facebook stalked all of them. Mercedes and I had so many similarities and we both knew we would be friends – so we decided to share a room together. And it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. All of my roommates were absolute gems (prayers are answered you guys) – and Cedes was absolutely no exception. The girl who stayed up till 3am chatting with me, who taught me how to curl my hair, who listened to hours on end of me telling her how much I adored the guy next door (who eventually became my hubby) and all the subsequent drama, who was the ultimate wingman, who wrote spoofy songs with me, who laughed and cried with me and saw me at my best and worst… THIS GIRL holds a special place in my heart.

 

When few years ago when she told me she was dating this guy, and sent me some pictures, I instantly knew and hoped that he was the one for her. And he was! Reed is SO sweet to Cedes plus funny and romantic, and I am beyond happy that they got married.

 

As a Logan Utah anniversary photographer, she asked me to do one-year anniversary pictures with them.. Uh, heck yeah! I didn’t have to think about that long. That first year of marriage can be tough, so I absolutely love seeing couples like them who are still glowing and happily making it a year later. It was SO fun to spend this afternoon with them… at this gorgeous park where they got engaged! ❤❤ And they were such champs in the freezing cold Logan weather we love, haha. I love you guys!
