I love, love doing a lifestyle newborn session. It’s so meaningful to be there documenting the addition to a family right there where they love on and care for her day after day. Little Eliza joined Cody and Katie’s family and they are such sweet parents to her. They were so gentle and patient and took everything with a smile, including the occasional (or maybe a bit more than occasional ????) spitting up during the session. It happens to everyone!

 

Little Eliza kept her eyes open almost the whole time – which is rare for newborns. She was so observant and attentive, nothing was getting past her! I loved the depth her beautiful eyes added to each shot.

 

And I love when guys come up with a shot they want to do! This one was Cody’s idea and it is so cute!
