Hannah and Doug met on Mutual and they realized they both worked at the Dining Services at USU! They started dating and hit it off. After Institute one day, Doug and Hannah went on little walk to the “A” where there were candles (quickly being re-lit by a faithful roommate, wind.. ????) and Doug popped the question!

 

From the moment I met Hannah, I knew I would love her. When we had our first bride meeting at Jamba Juice, her and her mom gave me big hugs and gave me an adorable blanket for my two month old. They are the sweetest. I then found out that Hannah and I majored in the same thing! She’s doing Business Administration with and HR emphasis at Utah State which is exactly what I did! And Doug is doing Mechanical Engineering, which is quite impressive. Hannah and Doug love hiking and being outdoors which I love too. Hannah had Chaco tan lines on her feet at their bridals which made my heart happy.

 

I got to the Logan Temple for the first look and met Doug for the first time. He was so sweet; I could tell how much he adores Hannah. When he saw her in her dress for the first time, he had  the most loving look on his face. It was such a sweet moment.

 

After that, we went up to Tony Grove. We started driving up the road to the lake, and there were patches of snow. And more snow, and more snow… uh oh. Then we came to a car that was completely stuck and abandoned. To say I was flustered was an understatement ???? I did not think there would be snow in May, but I underestimated how much colder the mountains can be! Thankfully for us, on the drive up there were some beautiful fields. So we drove back down and did our photos there instead. That may take the cake on my most embarrassing moment so far.

 

But Hannah and Doug were seriously the sweetest about it and rolled with the punches. They’re amazing. Hannah looked absolutely stunning in her Petals and Promises dress and Doug looked so sharp in his Kater Shop tux. They were so fun and we had such a great time! And the sun even peaked out for us #blessings. I cannot wait for their wedding in a few weeks!
